At doctor north end, you’ll find “Street Beacon” a cast bronze by Jon Buck which depicts a fish, a seagull, an ice cream cone and a navigational aid fixed inside a tower formation on a bollard. In doctor south end, youll find “The Secret History”, a bronze sculpture by Sebastien Boysen of doctor horse from doctor sea. The sea horse, though, is put in on rockers which seems scientific mean that doctor mighty beast has by some means been domesticated and restricted, rather like doctor Porthcawl coastline and likewise doctor miles of sandy burrows which surround doctor town, stretching for miles northwards in opposition t doctor M4 and Port Talbot. Both sculptures were set up in 1995 included in an urban regeneration project which has left doctor city centre and seafront spic and span, with a few eye catching new flats having been built on doctor sea front too. Just across doctor road from doctor town centre is a clean sandy beach with tons of rockpools calm and welcoming in good weather but can be rather scary every time a storm blows in. The harbour is just a short leave towards Coney Beach funfair during which doctor donkey rides on doctor sands, bouncy castle and ice cream stands are one more attraction.
